The core function of this position is to provide crucial assistance and support to the onsite team. This includes ensuring overall availability and reliability, meeting or exceeding defined service levels.
This role requires proactive issue detection and reporting tools, as well as complex problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for maintaining SLAs through root cause analysis and follow established procedures for system documentation and issue tracking entries.
You will work in a 24X7 environment which may require shift work including weekends and holidays. A strong understanding of building and/or electrical platform management systems is essential for success in this role.
We are looking for talented individuals to join our diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. Our team owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all global infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of data centre IT infrastructure and data centre facilities infrastructure and how the two entities co-exist. The successful candidate will assist with coordination and communication during emergency recovery efforts and develop tools that enhance the team's performance.
In addition, you will contribute to outage post-mortem analysis and help ensure seamless capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. A high level of knowledge in NOC (Network Operations Centre) operations and experience working in a large-scale data centre are required.
This is a critical component of our global infrastructure, requiring dedicated professionals who can maintain high standards of safety and security while delivering exceptional results.
