Senior Software Development Expert

This role involves the development and evolution of a sensor fusion engine, with a focus on improving its tracking capability of large-scale drone swarms.

  • Be a key contributor to developing high-performance algorithms for detecting and tracking drones in real-time environments.
  • Profile, benchmark, and optimize performance-critical code using multi-threading, GPU acceleration, and other advanced techniques.
  • Review and assess the latest research in multi-object tracking to ensure our sensor fusion engine uses cutting-edge algorithms.
  • Benchmark and optimise sensor fusion code using multi-threading, GPU acceleration, language bindings, and other techniques.
  • Build and maintain continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines that ensure high code quality, performance, and stability.
Key Responsibilities
  • Synergize with engineering teams to develop and evolve the sensor fusion engine.
  • Collaborate closely with relevant stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues and bug reports.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a professional software development environment.
  • Proficiency in C++ and familiarity with other general-purpose languages.
  • Experience with CMake, unit testing frameworks, and performance tuning.
  • Strong background in developing data-intensive, real-time applications, and/or GPU-accelerated processing systems.
