Job Opportunity:

As a Licensed Cabler, you will be working as an IT field engineer, providing technical support and solutions to our customers. Your primary role will be to install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware-related projects based around desktop/laptop installs and support, printer installs, configuration, and support, network/server installs and troubleshooting, and POS and self-checkout maintenance and install.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being in the field, travelling to customer sites and solving problems. Our most successful engineers are those who enjoy being hands-on and problem-solving.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:

  • Hardware installation and configuration including desktops, laptops, printers, routers, switches, and all related hardware.
  • Software configuration and level 1-2 support.
  • Troubleshooting, backup, and restore on both hardware and network issues.
  • Server builds and network patching.
  • Experience with construction and deconstruction on network/server racks.
  • Good knowledge of technologies including operating systems and printer configuration.
  • Knowledge of network connectivity and server builds.
  • POS and/or self-checkout installation/repair/maintenance.
