  • We offer Permanent Part-Time contracts with competitive hourly rates from $29.06-$32.56/h + 11.5% super, ensuring a stable income for our Support Workers.
  • Take advantage of a Travel Allowance of $0.92 per KM PLUS paid travel time, allowing you to offset expenses while delivering exceptional care.
  • The role is based in Broken Hill NSW, providing an opportunity to work in a regional setting and make a real difference in people's lives.

Key Requirements:

  • A valid Australian Driver's License and ownership of a reliable insured vehicle are essential for this role.
  • Fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (minimum 2 doses) is mandatory for all applicants.
  • We value flexibility and are willing to accommodate your current availability, offering work between 7am and 6pm, Monday through Friday.
  • While prior experience and/or a Certificate III in Individual Support are desirable, they are not necessarily required for this position.

Your New Role:

  • Support Daily Living: Assist with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Safety Practices: Focus on safe manual handling and driver awareness, ensuring both clients and staff are protected.
  • Client Awareness: Engage in social interaction, observe client needs, and participate in ongoing training and support to deliver exceptional care.
  • Personal Care: Assist with daily hygiene, dressing, and toileting, as well as help at mealtime and medication prompting.
  • Social & Wellbeing: Accompany clients to appointments, outings, and shopping trips, promoting social connections and overall wellbeing.
  • Transportation: Provide transportation to medical appointments, shopping, and social events, enhancing clients' quality of life.
