About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Personal Care Support Specialist to join our team at Montefiore Home in the Eastern Suburbs. As a Personal Care Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients with daily tasks, companionship, and engagement in various activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Social Support and Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to our clients, engaging them in conversations and activities of their interest.
  • Domestic Assistance: Assist clients with daily tasks such as household chores, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Transportation and Appointments: Accompany clients to appointments and provide transportation as needed.
Requirements
  • Availability: Must be available to work during weekdays and weekends.
  • Covid-19 Vaccination: While not mandatory, we strongly recommend that our staff members are up-to-date on their Covid-19 vaccinations.
  • Immediate Start: We require staff members who can start immediately.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Smartphone Proficiency: Sound knowledge of smartphone usage is required.
  • Presentation and Professionalism: Impeccable presentation and professionalism are expected.
  • Licence and Vehicle: A valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle are necessary.
  • NDIS Worker Check: Compliance with NDIS worker checks is required.
