Job Title: Specialist Medical Practitioner

We are seeking highly skilled medical professionals to join our healthcare team and contribute to the delivery of quality patient care in a complex clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To evaluate, diagnose, treat and provide consultation to patients of all ages presenting with diverse conditions
  • To work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • MBBS or equivalent, registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia
  • Australian and NZ Graduates/Competent Authority Pathway Candidates: Completion of 1 postgraduate year as a medical officer in an acute hospital setting, practicing clinical medicine for a minimum of 12 months out of the past 2 years
  • Standard Pathway Candidates: Completion of 2 postgraduate years as a medical officer in an acute hospital setting, practicing clinical medicine for a minimum of 12 months out of the past 2 years

About This Opportunity:

The RMO/SRMO clinical year consists of 5 terms, including at least one term in Emergency and one term in Relief. Term allocations will be based on the AMC Framework and fulfilling clinical experience requirements.
