About the Role

McCabe's strong focus on culture and values provides a unique opportunity for senior lawyers to excel in their professional lives. The role offers the chance to develop skills in personal injury and general insurance services, while mentoring and supervising junior lawyers.

  • Public liability - Personal Injury & Property
  • Product liability
  • Indemnity
  • CTP
  • Catastrophic claims.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Laws or equivalent, a current Queensland practising certificate, and experience in general insurance matters, including liability claims and personal injury proceedings in Queensland. They will also be able to communicate effectively with experts in multiple fields, and have a commercial approach with the ability to articulate and negotiate effectively.

Requirements

We are seeking candidates who possess:

  • A Bachelor of Laws or equivalent qualification.
  • A current Queensland practising certificate.
  • Experience in general insurance matters, including liability claims and personal injury proceedings in Queensland.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with experts in multiple fields.
  • A commercial approach with the ability to articulate and negotiate effectively.
