Environmental Project Leader

As a technical leader with business acumen, you will oversee complex investigations, share expertise, and provide oversight to ensure robust outcomes. You will collaborate with stakeholders through open communication, building strong relationships with clients, auditors, regulators, and internal teams.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the team's strategic objectives by helping deliver a diverse and growing portfolio of contaminated land projects.
  • Offer technical guidance and share expertise on complex investigations, ensuring robust and high-quality outcomes.
  • Support professional growth – Encourage and guide colleagues at all levels, fostering a culture of shared learning and technical confidence.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders by building positive relationships with clients, auditors, regulators, and internal teams through clear, open communication.
  • Add value to business development by contributing to proposal preparation and support initiatives that help expand our capabilities and client base.
Requirements:
  • Industry certifications (CEnvP-SC, CPSS-CSAM) are preferred or desire to obtain (with support)
  • 15-20+ years of experience in contaminated land consulting in Australia
  • Strong working knowledge of QLD and national legislation (EP Act, NEPM)
  • Excellent writing, reporting, and client communication skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach to complex sites
  • Desire to lead, mentor, and grow your technical influence in the wider industry
