Job Description:

This is a hybrid role that can be based anywhere in Australia, requiring at least three days of work per week in the office.

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Risk and Compliance team. This role reports directly to the Senior Manager, Compliance, and assists with regulatory breach assessment processes to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

  • Support the management of compliance risks by undertaking assessments and implementing frameworks, policies, tools, systems, and processes.
  • Prepare and present concise professional risk and compliance reports for management and Boards as required.
  • Provide sound advice and guidance on risk and compliance matters to business leaders.
  • Closely partner with colleagues to drive alignment and consistent implementation of risk and compliance framework accountabilities.
Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and presenting professional risk and compliance reports, including compliance assessments, for management and Boards.
  • Driving alignment and consistent implementation of risk and compliance framework accountabilities across teams.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in Law, Commerce, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • Relevant post-graduate and/or professional qualifications desirable.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in a similar role or compliance role in the financial services industry.
