About the Role
We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team, providing essential support and empowerment to people with disability to live their lives to the fullest. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily living activities, personal care, and community participation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including menu planning, cooking, and cleaning.
- Support clients with personal care needs and medication management.
- Encourage clients to participate in community activities and programs.
- Work collaboratively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement behaviour support plans.
- Communicate effectively with families and stakeholders about client progress and needs.
About You
We are looking for a passionate and energetic individual who is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of people with disability. You will be a positive and respectful team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A Certificate III or above in Community Services is desirable, but not essential.
