About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be physically fit, and possess excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for assisting shotfirers and mobile manufacturing unit truck operators, delivering explosive products, drilling, and loading explosives in blast holes, all while prioritizing safety and environmental care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support shotfirers and MMU truck operators as needed;
  • Deliver explosive products, drill, and load explosives in blast holes;
  • Collaborate with team members to provide exceptional service to customers;
  • Maintain a commitment to safety and environmental protection;
  • Demonstrate integrity and respect at all times.
Requirements
  • Physical fitness and ability to work in varied weather conditions;
  • Pass security checks and obtain QLD Explosives Security Clearance;
  • Undergo pre-employment medical assessment including drug and alcohol screen;
  • Excellent attitude, positive, and team-oriented;
  • Mechanical aptitude advantageous but not essential;
  • Willingness to learn and focus on career development.
