Your New Role

  • As a Surveyor, you will be based in Melbourne, Wollongong, Sydney, Brisbane, or Perth and report to the local Survey Coordinator.
  • You will have exposure to a diverse range of projects and survey equipment, with opportunities for problem-solving and leadership.
  • Our Surveyors work closely with assistants and may be required to train junior personnel.
  • You will provide timely administrative information, including timesheets, invoicing assistance, and QA records.
  • Deliver results in a professional manner to the client and/or Job Manager.

What We're Looking For

  • 1-2 years of practical experience in engineering, construction, and feature surveys in Australia/NZ.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with Leica instrumentation and AutoCAD software.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with Terrestrial Laser Scanning and point cloud processing.
  • A comprehensive understanding of best practice survey techniques and thorough competence in the use of survey equipment and software systems.
  • The ability to modify established guides and devise new approaches.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to consult with clients on a wide range of issues.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree or TAFE Diploma in Surveying.
  • Current clean and unrestricted driver's license.
  • Must hold a valid visa or full-time working rights in Australia.
