Senior Product Designer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to create intuitive, visually stunning interfaces.

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional partners to define solutions that improve the guest booking experience across our products. You will be responsible for running discovery phases, testing prototypes, and presenting your work to peers and leadership.

The successful candidate will have 6+ years of full-time experience as a product designer for digital or web-based products, with a strong portfolio demonstrating design thinking, process, and user-centered web and mobile product design.

About the Role

This is a senior-level position that requires a strategic leader with a vision for implementing experiences that balance customer needs with business goals. You will be responsible for championing cohesion and consistency in UX design across a growing family of products/features.

Your day-to-day activities will include:

  • Running discovery phases and helping define product requirements
  • Testing prototypes and hypotheses with users to collect feedback
  • P Presenting your work to peers and leadership, async and in-person
  • Participating in weekly design critiques, workshops, all-hands, and squad meetings
  • Maintaining cohesion and consistency in UX across products
Responsibilities

This role requires a collaborative approach to problem-solving, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines. You will be working closely with designers, product managers, and engineers to shape the overall product direction.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Crafting sophisticated flows and customer journeys
  • Thinking and designing at a system level, not just pages
  • Leveraging soft skills: listening, negotiating, decision-making
  • Balance multiple priorities and deliver effectively in a fast-paced environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • 6+ years of full-time experience as a product designer for digital or web-based products
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating design thinking, process, and user-centered web and mobile product design
  • Proficient in both quantitative and qualitative research, with hands-on experience conducting user interviews, synthesizing findings, and generating actionable insights
  • Strong UI design experience with deep knowledge of design patterns and a creative approach to solving problems through interfaces
  • Ability to translate quantitative and qualitative insights into design decisions
