About the Quantum Navigation Research Scientist Position

Our team is focused on developing innovative solutions that enhance navigation and location-based services using cutting-edge quantum sensing technology. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing quantum navigation algorithms and sensor fusion strategies to address pressing challenges in the field.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop advanced quantum navigation algorithms and models for various scenarios.
  • Translate quantum sensor performance into practical solutions for customers and end-users.
  • Use data analytics and machine learning techniques to extract insights from quantum sensor data streams.
  • Collaborate closely with research and engineering teams to deploy and validate your developed solutions on real quantum sensing hardware.
Requirements and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess a strong foundation in physics, electronic engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline. Additionally, relevant experience in navigation theory, numerical modeling, real-time state tracking, and estimation is highly desirable.

  • Essential Qualifications:
  • A B.Sc.(Hon) or M.Sc. degree in Physics, Electronic Engineering, Mathematics, or a closely related field.
  • Experience in navigation theory, numerical modeling, and/or real-time state tracking and estimation.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with modern signal processing methods, such as Bayesian methods and particle filtering.
  • Knowledge of sensor modeling, sensor signal processing, and data fusion.
  • Familiarity with the Python programming language for scientific computing.
  • Understanding of quantum and/or atomic physics at an undergraduate level.
  • Experience with software version control systems, such as Git.
