The Role

Serve as a key player in delivering procurement services that support business objectives. Coordinate sourcing activities, ensure compliance, and contribute to continuous improvement across procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist advice and manage source-to-contract procurement processes in alignment with business objectives and compliance protocols.
  • Lead complex tender development, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations.
  • Deliver accurate procurement reporting, market analysis, and dashboards to inform strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Apply risk mitigation strategies for high-value procurements and ensure fair, transparent, and ethical sourcing practices.
  • Engage stakeholders to understand business needs and support procurement planning, market briefings, and supplier relationship management.
  • Champion a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement, adhering to relevant WHS policies and procedures.

We're looking for an experienced procurement professional who can contribute to effective sourcing, contract management, and stakeholder engagement.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Procurement qualifications with three+ years of experience in a similar role or four+ years of solid procurement experience from multiple roles.
  • Experience in RFXs, contract planning, preparation, negotiation, and finalisation in op-ex and cap-ex settings.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
  • Solid oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, procurement systems, and data analysis tools.

This role can be based in Hobart, Launceston, or Devonport, attracting a salary of $105,436.28 - $111,293.87 (inclusive of 15.5% superannuation). Relocation support may be negotiated for successful interstate candidates.
