Facilities Attendant Role

We have exciting opportunities available for immediate start within our remote village in Karratha, WA. Our facilities attendants are responsible for general maintenance work, grounds maintenance, and garbage collection around our villages to keep them tidy and presentable for our valued guests.

About the Role
  • Responsibilities include maintaining a safe environment for employees, customers, contractors, and visitors.
  • You will be working with various equipment and materials commonly used in facilities operations, such as ride-on mowers, push mowers, whipper snippers, blowers, high-pressure hoses, and small parts.
  • Maintain the tidiness and professionalism of all work areas, storage areas, workshops, tools, and vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Carry out gardening duties, including lawn maintenance, pruning, and other tasks related to the upkeep of the village's grounds.
  2. Ensure regular collection and maintenance of waste throughout the site.
  3. Undertake general repairs and maintenance of site grounds, facilities, and buildings.
  4. Assist with troubleshooting and resolving issues related to facilities services.

Requirements
  • A current LF Forklift Licence is required.
  • Prior work experience in a similar position, such as grounds work or maintenance, is highly regarded.
  • Experience in high-volume, fast-paced work environments, ideally working outdoors.
  • A strong commitment to safety and teamwork is essential.
