We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Ryde and surrounding suburbs. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in our community by assessing participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical levels of function and capacity.

About the Role
  • Assess participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical levels of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardized assessments.
  • Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals tailored to each participant.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions that promote independence and support environmental adaptations.

The ideal candidate will possess current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist, excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, and a proactive attitude. They will be motivated by improvement and eager to work in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and advise on environmental adaptations including home, school, work, and residential facilities.
  • Recommend the provision of Assistive Technology to help participants overcome functional limitations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes for participants.
Requirements
  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • A proactive attitude and motivation to improve and learn from new ideas.
