Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated RF Electronics Engineer to join our research team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, construct and test bespoke RF electronic warfare equipment
  • Review data results and provide analysis to meet work objectives
  • Collaborate with team members and contribute to research activities
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and adapt to different styles to ensure requirements for research and development activities are understood
  • Assess and verify existing electronic warfare systems and report on results
  • Solve problems by following established industry practices and operating policies and procedures

About the Role:

This role is part of our research and development team focused on identifying, analysing and countering threats to Australia's Defence and national security through electronic means. We conceive, develop and validate EW technologies and techniques to enhance the survivability and mission assurance of the ADF.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of modern RF test and measurement equipment
  • Ability to work effectively in laboratory and field trials environments
  • Good oral and written communication skills, including interpreting and conveying information via documentation
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • A high level of initiative and self-motivation
