This is a highly rewarding career opportunity for an experienced Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Avionics to join our dynamic team in Redcliffe, Queensland.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of CASA regulations and compliance requirements, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure maintenance performed on assigned aircraft is carried out to the highest possible standard in compliance with company policies and procedures and National Aviation Authority (NAA) Regulations.
  • Ensure aircraft are maintained in accordance with the relevant and current Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA).
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers to enhance their overall experience.
  • Ensuring all tasks are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Working with the Quality & Safety Team to ensure aviation quality, safety, and compliance with a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years - experience in aircraft maintenance and modifications.
  • Must be Experienced and hold qualifications on light and medium Bell, Airbus and Leonardo model Helicopters.
  • Must hold current CASA B2 license.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with workshop managers and other staff in a busy environment with strict deadlines.
  • An understanding of CASA regulations and compliance requirements.
  • A keep eye for detail and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
  • The ability to work independently.
  • Good computer literacy and experience working with aircraft maintenance programs.
  • Meet the requirements of the Company Pre-employment drug and alcohol policy.
  • Provide a current National Police Check.

Desirable Criteria:

  • The following Type Ratings are highly desirable: Bell 212/412, AW139.
  • Experience in installations and modifications is highly desirable.
  • Competency in the use of computer-aided design programs will be well regarded.
