Are you passionate about helping children grow and develop through fun-filled and educational activities? As an Outside School Hours Care Educator, you will have the opportunity to work with primary school children and make a difference in their lives.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about creating engaging experiences for kids. This role offers flexibility to prioritize study or family needs, and you might just discover a supportive team environment that feels like a second family.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Care for children before school, after school, and during school holiday periods.
  • Develop and implement science experiments, outdoor games, and painting activities that foster creativity and learning.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high-quality care and education for children.

Your Work Environment:

The Varsity College Primary School has a licensed OSHC service for 180 children, offering Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care between 6:30am and 6pm. Our service philosophy prioritizes community and belonging, children's agency, and spontaneous play.

Requirements:

  • A Certificate or Diploma qualification in Children Services or equivalent.
  • A sense of fun and imagination to create engaging experiences for children.
  • Hold or obtain a current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Current Blue Card or willing to obtain one.
