Job Title: Automotive Mechanic
We are seeking an experienced and skilled automotive mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting and certifying vehicles for roadworthiness, ensuring that our customers drive away in only the safest, most reliable vehicles.

  • Vehicle Inspections: Conduct thorough mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic inspections to ensure every vehicle meets the highest standards of safety and performance.
  • Roadworthy Certification: Perform required roadworthy checks and ensure all vehicles meet necessary compliance standards before delivery.
  • Repairs & Maintenance: Diagnose mechanical issues and carry out repairs, including brake repairs, engine diagnostics, and suspension work.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our internal teams to ensure a seamless workflow and high standards of customer satisfaction.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all inspections, repairs, and certifications completed.
  • Quality Control: Perform final checks and quality control before vehicle handover to ensure top-quality delivery.

Requirements">

  2. A valid RWC license is highly desired to perform roadworthy checks.
  3. Proven experience as a Roadworthy Mechanic with strong knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic tools.
  4. A sharp eye for identifying issues and defects, ensuring every vehicle is fully compliant and ready for our customers.
  5. Problem-solving skills, confident in diagnosing and solving mechanical issues.
  6. Team player, committed to maintaining a positive, productive team environment.
  7. Clear communication skills, whether with team members or customers, ensuring everyone's on the same page.
  8. Formal automotive qualifications (e.g., Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology) and/or current RWC Licence are essential.
