This role involves proactively driving Workplace Health and Safety initiatives, governing contractor safety management, and providing expert advice on obligations under workplace legislation.
- Develop and execute Perth Airport's Critical Risk Framework (Fatality Prevention Program)
- Drive proactive Workplace Health and Safety initiatives with business units and contractors
- Govern Contractor Safety Management Framework across all streams
- Provide expert advice on obligations and Principal Contractor responsibilities
- Lead investigations into serious workplace incidents
- Deliver timely and insightful safety reporting
You will be responsible for championing a collaborative, high-performance culture grounded in accountability, leadership coaching, and continuous learning.
The ideal candidate holds a tertiary qualification in Workplace Health and Safety, Risk Management or a related discipline, with a deep understanding of workplace legislation and model laws.
They have demonstrated experience designing and governing Critical Risk Management frameworks in complex environments.
