Laboratory Technician

Fulton Hogan is seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our Northern Industries Team based in Cedar Creek. As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of laboratory operations and test results.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with laboratory operations, including sample testing and analysis, to ensure compliance with NATA and Department of Main Roads standards.
- Conduct compliance testing for aggregate, soils, road base, and CTB material samples.
- Ensure laboratory and production facility compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist with the design and performance of laboratory mix designs and blends.
- Direct responsibility for source rock schedules and lot control/lot management.
- Assist Laboratory Foreman and Lab. Supervisor with test reporting and data analysis.
- Knowledge of laboratory and production facility calibration requirements.
- Quarry and soils testing laboratory experience, techniques, and accreditation.
- Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Questlab.
- Demonstrated commitment to collaborative, ethical behavior in a client-facing environment.
- Demonstrated skills in research, evaluation, interpretation, and delivery of data.
