Role Overview

As a Trauma Product Specialist, you will drive the Trauma business and contribute to team success. This opportunity is ideal for those who are commercially driven, results-orientated and passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.

About Orthopaedics

We develop smarter treatments that keep people moving. Our teams deliver clinical and economic value to surgeons and healthcare systems. We specialise in joint reconstruction; trauma and craniomaxillofacial; sports, extremities, and elective foot and ankle; spine; and robotics and digital surgery.

The Opportunity

This role offers a unique chance to inherit an established territory with over 90% market share. You will be responsible for meeting and exceeding sales targets, providing theatre case coverage, developing relationships within the territory and establishing training programs for theatre personnel.

Responsibilities
  • Meet and exceed sales targets while enhancing existing business
  • Provide theatre case coverage to the highest standards for clinical stakeholders
  • Develop trusted partnerships and data insights to drive business growth
  • Deliver accurate product information to customers and partners
  • Establish and run regular training for theatre personnel and partner with internal teams for additional training opportunities
  • Manage consignment inventory and logistics of loan equipment effectively
About You
  • A degree qualification in a Health-related field, Science or Business, with 1-2 years experience in hospital sales and territory management
  • Ability to work under pressure in an operating theatre environment and participate in after-hours and weekend on-call work
  • Demonstrated ability to identify customer pain points and expectations, and proactively seek solutions
  • Develop relationships and engage in commercial conversations with diverse customers
  • Commercial acumen and a positive attitude to achieving results
  • Strong communication, organisation and time management skills
