About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Investment Operations Specialist to join our team at IOOF Holdings Limited.

This is a key role that will provide support to our Investment Operations team, working closely with our Specialist Managers to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary support to the Derivatives team, including daily trade processing, matching, settlement, and cash forecasting.
  • Secondary/backup support for other asset classes, such as Equities, Fixed Income, and Managed Accounts.
  • Perform ad-hoc portfolio analysis and reporting, as required.
  • Support the Collateral Management process and review operational incidents to implement preventative measures.
  • Manage clients and related external third-party queries.
  • Support the reporting of OTC trade and life cycle events.
  • Lead, support, and implement new business and change activities/initiatives as required.
Requirements
  • Strong technical understanding of Middle Office operations.
  • Good understanding of the regulatory environment impacting Investment Operations.
  • Understanding of OTC reporting requirements is highly regarded.
  • Good understanding of various asset classes and financial instruments.
  • Fundamental understanding of the operational processes supporting Derivatives, OTC products is non-negotiable.
  • 10 years of experience in Investments/Assets Management/Finance, with a minimum of 5 years in Investment Operations.
  • Experience in systems, including Bloomberg, CTM, DTCC, XSPRISA, FX Connect/GTSS, ACADIA.
  • Ability to work in a pressurized and deadline-driven environment.
