Associate, Partner Tax

Our Private Business Tax & Advisory team is seeking a business services accountant to join our Brisbane office as an Associate, Partner Tax. In this role, you will work closely with Partners to meet their accounting and tax compliance requirements, including timely preparation of financial statements and income tax returns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Partners with accounting, tax advisory, and tax planning matters
  • Build strong relationships with Partners and stakeholders while maintaining discretion and confidentiality
  • Stay updated on changes in tax legislation affecting Partners

Requirements:

  • Qualification(s) and/or professional accreditation(s) in a relevant discipline, such as Business/Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
  • Commenced or planning to commence a CA qualification
  • Significant professional experience in business and tax advisory within a chartered accounting setting
  • Interest in working with professionals and investment entities
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities within a deadline-driven environment
