Industrial Design Solutions Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled industrial design professional to join our team in Sydney, Australia. As a key member of our creative team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality industrial design solutions that meet client and production standards.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring detail design elements, such as drawings and bill of materials, meet client and production requirements
  • Managing within the agreed detail design process and timelines for all projects, ensuring health and safety of design staff and contractors
  • Demonstrating detailed design output development and supervision of any assisting designer's work
  • Producing detailed design documents, bills of material, design drawings, and specifications
  • Liaising with suppliers as required and collaborating with both on and offshore teams daily
  • Generating die-lines and client artwork setup
  • Ensuring the quality of all detail design deliverables

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in comparable detail design
  • Strong understanding of detail design methods and standards
  • Excellent written, drawing, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Excellent scheduling and time management skills
  • Bachelor's in Industrial Design degree and experience in Point of Sale display design is essential
  • Citizenship or Permanent Residency, with full working rights in Australia
