Medical Services Leadership Opportunity
The Director Medical Services position is a senior medical leadership role that encompasses strategic, clinical governance, and workforce support for various health services in the region.
This role provides an opportunity to manage key business functions/units and take on a senior role in regional clinical services and workforce planning.
About the Role:
- Primarily based at a health facility with some travelling components to the region.
- Management of specific functions and units under the auspices of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) will be negotiated with the successful applicant, based on experience and interests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing strategic direction and guidance to health service partners across the region.
- Working closely with the Medical Services Leadership Team to progress sustainable change across the region.
- Managing key business functions/units and taking on a senior role in regional clinical services and workforce planning.
Requirements:
- A strong background in medical leadership and management.
- Experience working in a similar role or in a relevant healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to travel to various locations within the region.
