Centre Management Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Centre Manager to lead our childcare centre team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the centre, leading and supporting staff development, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and education to children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage centre operations, including staffing, budgeting, and communication with parents and stakeholders
  • Lead and support staff professional development, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate activities and lesson plans that promote child growth and development
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment, adhering to all policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Foster a positive and inclusive culture that promotes teamwork and respect for diversity

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • ACECQA approved Diploma (or higher) in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in a licensed childcare centre or similar setting, including experience in a leadership role
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
