Are you a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician looking for a new challenge in the dynamic aviation industry? Qantas is seeking a talented individual to join our team as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer. This exciting opportunity offers a chance to relocate to Australia, with sponsorship and relocation assistance provided for eligible candidates and their immediate family members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Aircraft Maintenance and rectification as per manufacturers' and company specifications to a high standard.
  • Work with specialist teams within our hangar environments to provide excellent engineering standards.
  • Contribute to line maintenance and ensure the highest level of safety, quality, reliability, and service.

Requirements:

  • Aircraft maintenance technician trade qualification or equivalent, preferably under EASA or CASA regulations.
  • Relevant Aircraft Maintenance trade experience minimum 10 years (Mechanical or Avionics).
  • Extensive Aircraft servicing experience on various aircraft in a maintenance environment.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of Aircraft Maintenance procedures.
  • Commitment to all safe working practices and service standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
  • Commitment to being customer-focused with flexibility and willingness to undertake other reasonable duties as required.
  • Highly developed attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated high ethical/behavioral standards and self-discipline.
  • Ability to work shift work on a 24/7 rotational shift roster.
  • Meet all Visa requirements, including English Language Proficiency, with the ability to meet the English language requirements set by the Department of Home Affairs.
