Field Service Specialist

About the Role:

This is a dynamic customer-facing position where you'll be responsible for servicing high-speed production and packaging lines. You'll troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software systems, deliver onsite support and training, and play a key role in keeping essential manufacturing sectors moving.

This includes travel and participation in a rotating on-call/weekend roster. Career progression into senior technical or leadership roles is available.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Installing and commissioning equipment such as CIJ, TIJ, TTO, Laser, LPA, LCM printers.
  • Performing troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
  • Supporting customers with technical training and ongoing service.
  • Collaborating with internal sales and account teams.
  • Maintaining accurate service records and asset databases.
  • Identifying growth opportunities within assigned service zones.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in field service, maintenance, or automation.
  • A trade or tertiary qualification in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills across mechanical, electrical, and software systems.
  • Exposure to industrial printers or packaging line systems is advantageous.
  • A valid Australian Driver's Licence and willingness to travel.
  • A customer-first mindset with excellent communication skills.
