Our team is looking for a skilled Survey Data Manager to lead the delivery, support and maintenance of our farm survey collection software. This role will involve working closely with the IT support team to ensure the software meets the needs of our survey collectors.

The Survey Data Manager will be responsible for leading training and troubleshooting sessions for our survey collection software used across regional and remote Australia by 25-30 survey collectors each year. They will also manage and support our farm survey database infrastructure, including permissions, governance, workflow and table structures.

Additionally, the successful candidate will work collaboratively with the survey team to support survey delivery, reviewing travel and expenses, arranging mailouts, and supporting training activities. They will also contribute to the planning and coordination of team operations to ensure goals and objectives are met.

To be successful in this role, the applicant should have an in-depth understanding of survey data collection software and links to database and analytical systems. They should also have experience communicating business problems and requirements to IT developers and support staff.

A history of successful project management and delivery, as well as experience in farm surveys and/or Australian agriculture, would be highly desirable.
