Trade Compliance Specialist Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Trade Compliance Specialist to oversee the implementation of governance frameworks for global trade management at a country level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate regional, cluster or country-level implementation of Global Trade Management (GTM) initiatives
- Ensure trade compliance and efficient trade practices at regional, cluster or country level
- Collaborate with business units to analyze trade flows and customs duty spend for duty savings opportunities
- Provide guidance and improvement suggestions to business units on trade-related issues
- Conduct trade reviews and audits, escalating trade compliance issues as necessary
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in subjects related to trade compliance, export import, or customs management
- Minimum 10 years' experience in trade compliance, import/export compliance, customs management, or taxes
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English
