Service Team Lead

Earn a competitive salary in the range of $70,000 to $90,000 plus superannuation.

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Service Team Lead for a well-established and trusted independent mechanic workshop located in Glen Waverley.

The primary purpose of this role is to oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the office and service desk, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient workshop support.

  • Preparing invoices, quotes, and job costings
  • Liaising with customers to book jobs, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction
  • Ordering parts and managing stock control
  • Coordinating schedules and workflow with mechanics in the workshop
  • Handling incoming calls, emails, and general administration duties
  • Ensuring records, compliance, and reporting are maintained accurately

As a successful candidate, you will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar administration, service advisor, or office management role
  • Automotive industry background or knowledge of vehicle parts
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in invoicing and quoting
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in computer systems and office software
  • A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to work independently

This is a full-time role with immediate start available. You will be part of a small and close-knit team environment, working with the latest equipment and tools for efficiency.
