UX/UI Lead Job Description

This is a senior role for an experienced UX/UI expert to lead the design of digital products and services.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the vision behind our digital offerings, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a consistent and high-quality user experience.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for design. They will be responsible for defining end-to-end UX/UI strategies that align with both user needs and business objectives.

We are seeking someone who can translate complex insights and requirements into intuitive, engaging, and scalable design solutions. The ability to consolidate research and business inputs into actionable strategies and elegant interfaces is essential.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead UX/UI efforts across complex digital products or services
  • Develop user-centered design, interaction design, information architecture, and wireframing expertise
  • Conduct user research, prototyping, and service design thinking
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects

This is a 6-month contract with a likely extension. Applicants must reside in Australia and have eligible working rights.

Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience leading UX/UI efforts
  • Skillset: Deep understanding of user-centered design, interaction design, information architecture, and wireframing
  • Capabilities: Strong capabilities in user research, prototyping (Figma, etc.), and service design thinking
