About the Role

The Injury Management and Wellbeing Advisor position plays a pivotal role in maintaining a safe and supportive work environment.

This key function involves facilitating proactive wellbeing programs, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.

The successful candidate will coordinate injury reporting and assessment, implement tailored rehabilitation programs, and provide ongoing advice and support to staff throughout their recovery journey.

Main Responsibilities
  • Facilitate wellbeing initiatives through effective collaboration with team members
  • Manage injury reporting and assessment processes in accordance with relevant legislation and policies
  • Develop and oversee rehabilitation plans catering to individual employee needs
  • Liaise with medical professionals, managers, and employees to support recovery pathways
  • Create and facilitate effective return-to-work strategies
  • Conduct risk assessments and recommend proactive approaches to prevent workplace injuries
Key Requirements
  • You champion a worker-centric approach to injury management and wellbeing.
  • You possess relevant qualifications or significant experience in injury management, occupational health and safety, or return-to-work coordination.
  • You are well-versed in workers' compensation legislation and rehabilitation frameworks.
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees, medical providers, and managers.
  • You can manage sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
  • You have exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
