About This Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Facilities Manager to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our Asset Management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a prime commercial asset.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in facilities management and possess excellent communication skills. You will work closely with the Property Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the property and implement strategies to maintain and enhance its value.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and monitor all operations and maintenance of the property
  • Familiarity and monitoring of correct operation of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, fire services and other systems and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and organisational processes
  • Manage site specific audits and risks reports
  • Closing out work orders and purchase orders in a timely manner
  • Contractor management including tendering of services where applicable
  • Managing tenant work order maintenance requests
  • Providing clear and concise written recommendations on capital replacements or upgrades
  • Assisting the Property Manager to prepare annual operating expense and capital expenditure budgets
  • Reporting and documentation in line with client and organisational procedures
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management
  • Previous experience in retail or commercial assets an advantage
  • Strong tenant focus
  • Strategic approach to problem solving
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
