Job Title: Cloud Leader - Azure Transformation Expert

The Head of Azure, Cloud Custom Applications role is a key position within our team responsible for the successful delivery and growth of professional services focused on Azure to our Australian and New Zealand customers.

About the Role:
As a Cloud Leader, you will be a key member of the leadership team responsible for overseeing the go-to-market, delivery, and quality of our solutions to customers. You will work closely with the head of Cloud & Custom Applications Australia and New Zealand to ensure successful project presales, initiation, delivery, and governance on-time, scope, and budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing the go-to-market, delivery, and quality of our solutions to customers.
  • Collaborating effectively across teams to ensure successful project presales, initiation, delivery, and governance.
  • Building strong relationships with customers as a trusted advisor and delivery leader.
  • Participating in regular client and internal governance forums to ensure on-track delivery of services.
  • Contributing to the creation, review, and approval of client contracts.
  • Contributing to presales activities in conjunction with the sector sales team.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operational activities of the Azure team ensuring excellence in areas such as resource management, utilization, budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement.
  • Coaching, mentoring, and growing the Azure team ensuring high levels of engagement and retention.
  • Regularly engaging with Microsoft as a key strategic partner to ensure Capgemini is leveraging the latest innovations, funding programs, and its teams are certified.
  • Helping drive and being a champion of our collaborative and fun culture within the Azure team and more broadly across Cloud & Custom Applications.
  • Contributing to the overall service line strategy and vision alongside the Cloud & Custom Applications leadership team.


Experience & Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:

  • 10+ years' experience in a similar professional services leadership role.
  • Experience working with large and complex client requirements in a fast-moving environment.
  • Experience working within a large-scale service provider environment where building relationships and collaborating is key in addition to adhering to mature delivery frameworks.
  • Deep experience from pre-sales to final delivery; ensuring that each solution is appropriately scoped, designed, implemented, and tested to meet client needs.
  • Deep experience and knowledge of the Microsoft development ecosystem, and passion for Azure.
  • Experience working with key strategic ISV partners is desirable.
