Make a Difference as a Food Delivery Driver

We are seeking a proactive and organized individual to join our team as a food delivery driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely driving between food collection points and pantry sites across London, loading the vehicle in line with food safety and manual handling regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Load and unload food items from vehicles
  • Ensure vehicle safety and cleanliness at all times
  • Report incidents and maintain a professional demeanor in traffic or other scenarios

The ideal candidate will have a full and valid driving license, be physically fit to manually load heavy items, and possess experience in van delivery, preferably in food distribution and chilled vehicles. A food safety and hygiene qualification is also desirable.

Requirements
  • Full and valid driving license (must be 25 or older)
  • Physically fit to manually load heavy items
  • Experience in van delivery, preferably in food distribution and chilled vehicles
  • Food safety and hygiene qualification (desirable)

As we work with vulnerable groups, successful applicants will require a Basic DBS check. We encourage applications from individuals with personal experience of the criminal justice system or issues faced by our clients.
