Job Title: Senior Auditor
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Auditor to join our team. As a Senior Auditor, you will play a key role in assisting a wide range of clients and reporting directly to the Partners.
Key Responsibilities- Supervising and completing audit assignments for review by a subsequent manager or Partner.
- Being the primary point of contact for clients.
- Managing the control of audit fieldwork.
- Providing guidance and direction to junior staff on assignment.
- Completing audits within time and budgetary requirements.
- Assisting managers or partners in the performance of special assignments and reports as required.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar audit role (preferably Big 4 or mid-tier audit firm).
- CA qualification or equivalent (e.g., ACCA, CPA).
- The ability to work autonomously with high levels of organisation and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated initiative and sound judgement to ensure smooth running of the audit.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- An in-depth understanding of auditing and control practices.
- Experience in managing and reviewing the work of a small engagement team.
- Working knowledge and application of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and other applicable legislation.
