Heavy Vehicle Operator

We are seeking experienced truck drivers for a permanent full-time position at our North Melbourne depot. As a rear load collection vehicle driver, you will deliver loads to nominated recycling and disposal facilities.
Your responsibilities will include daily pre-starts and maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment, as well as client interaction and safe loading and unloading of the trucks. Maintaining presentation of the vehicle is essential.
A valid HR licence or higher and a clean driving record are required. While experience in the waste industry is an advantage, it's not necessary.
We're looking for someone who is reliable, flexible to work overtime, and has a positive attitude. They must also have a strong commitment to safety and be willing to work as part of a team.
About the Role- You will be responsible for collecting waste from various locations and delivering it to recycling and disposal facilities.
- You will need to ensure that all loads are safely loaded and unloaded, and that the vehicles are properly maintained.
- You will interact with clients and other stakeholders on a regular basis, providing excellent customer service.
