Heavy Vehicle Driver Opportunity

We are seeking experienced heavy vehicle drivers for full-time work performing essential services throughout the region.

This opportunity will involve operating a rear load collection vehicle, delivering loads to nominated recycling and disposal facilities, conducting daily pre-starts and maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment, interacting with clients and safely loading and unloading trucks, as well as maintaining the presentation of the vehicle, inside and out.

About You
  • A valid HR licence or higher is required, along with a clean driving record.
  • Waste industry experience is advantageous, but not necessary.
  • Applicants should be reliable, flexible to work overtime, and possess a positive attitude.
  • A strong commitment to safety and a willingness to work as part of a team is also essential.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a rear load collection vehicle, ensuring efficient and safe delivery of waste.
  • Conduct daily pre-starts and maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment.
  • Interact with clients, ensuring their needs are met and providing excellent customer service.
  • Ensure the safe loading and unloading of trucks, adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols.
  • Maintain the presentation of the vehicle, inside and out, to a high standard.
