Occupational Therapist Job Description

">About the Role">

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse clients, including adults and children, to provide functional assessments, assistive technology recommendations, and evidence-based interventions.

">Key Responsibilities">

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized support plans.">
  • Provide assistive technology assessments and recommendations to enhance client independence.">
  • Deliver fine motor and gross motor therapy sessions to improve client mobility and dexterity.">
  • Assess and implement housing solutions to meet client needs.">
  • Offer 1:1 therapy sessions to promote client goal achievement and progress.">
  • Conduct seating and positioning assessments to ensure client comfort and safety.">
  • Develop and implement adult therapy programs, including group and individual sessions.">
  • Provide manual handling assessments and training to prevent injury.">
  • Administer developmental milestone assessments for early intervention and school-aged children.">
  • Sensory assessments and interventions to support client emotional regulation and behavioral strategies.">
">Required Skills and Qualifications">
  • ">
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA.">
  • Working with Children Check and National Police Check.">
  • Current driver's license and own vehicle.">
  • Current Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.">
