
Maintenance Operations Specialist

Job Role Overview:
As a key member of our factory operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our maintenance systems.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or electrical maintenance, with 2-3 years of supervisory experience. You will be responsible for leading a team of fitters, electricians, and trade assistants to achieve key factory maintenance KPIs.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Coordinating and leading the maintenance team to achieve key factory maintenance KPIs
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining preventative maintenance systems via MAINPAC System
- Playing a key role in HSE systems from a maintenance perspective within the factory
- Supervising factory equipment and maintenance strategies in accordance with PM, OEE, Quality, Service, Breakdown etc.
- Managing contractor services such as Cleaning Contractors and Grounds Contractors
- Promoting 6S Continuous Improvements philosophy
Requirements:
- Strong background in mechanical or electrical maintenance with 2-3 years of supervisory experience
- Understanding of relevant HSE regulations, standards, and practices
- Experience with digital Preventative Maintenance Systems
- Working knowledge of electrical/electronic systems
- Optical and Metallic Telecommunication Cable Manufacturing equipment and processes (ideal but not necessary)
- Knowledge in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering theory, concepts and systems
- Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems and procedures
