About the Role

The Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager is responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational direction to achieve exceptional management of health safety and wellbeing services. This includes developing, implementing and reviewing health safety and wellbeing strategies, plans, policies and procedures.

  • Provide district-wide strategic leadership and operational direction to achieve exceptional management of health safety and wellbeing services.
  • Develop, implement and review health safety and wellbeing strategies, plans, policies and procedures.
  • Manage the development, implementation and review of health safety and wellbeing programs, initiatives and services.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks and hazards associated with health safety and wellbeing.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, managers and external partners.

Main Responsibilities:

This role requires a proven track record in leading and managing teams with a focus on health safety and wellbeing. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and knowledge in health safety and wellbeing management systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential for building strong relationships with stakeholders.
