Director of Strategic Operations

We are seeking a visionary leader to drive strategic asset planning, infrastructure development, and service excellence across a complex organisation. The successful candidate will possess exceptional financial and project management acumen, as well as the ability to influence and engage with various stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead a workforce of over 420 employees across four functional departments to deliver critical services that support liveability and economic development.
  • Drive strategic asset planning, infrastructure development, and service excellence across a complex and geographically dispersed organisation.
  • Develop and implement long-term infrastructure strategies aligned to the Corporate Plan.

The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering asset-intensive services and capital projects, driving operational efficiency, and strategic transformation.
