Job Opportunity:

Utility Worker

We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to fill the role of Utility Worker.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our facilities, including dining rooms, kitchens, equipment, and common areas.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining legislated food hygiene and safety practices
  • Providing fast and effective service throughout busy periods
  • Dishwashing and cleaning of the kitchen, equipment & dining areas
  • Setting up and clearing dining rooms
  • Preparing and presenting texture-modified foods
  • Housekeeping duties - room and ensuite cleaning, making beds (if needed)
  • Common Area Cleaning - emptying bins, sweeping, mopping, general cleaning
  • Mine Site Cleaning - cleaning offices, crib huts, bathhouses

To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience working as a cleaner or utility worker. A driver's license is also essential.

In addition to your skills and experience, you will need to possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a strong focus on providing exceptional customer service.
