About the Role

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver culturally sensitive care to Aboriginal patients, taking into account their individual backgrounds and circumstances.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans that cater to the diverse needs of Aboriginal patients.
  • Support Aboriginal patients and families through education and advocacy, helping them navigate the healthcare system.
Requirements:
  • Certificate IV in Aboriginal Primary Health Care (Practice) or equivalent qualification.
  • Current authority to practice as an Aboriginal Health Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
