Delivering culturally appropriate care to Aboriginal patients requires a deep understanding of their unique needs and experiences. As an Aboriginal Health Practitioner, you will work in a fast-paced environment where timely decision-making is crucial.
The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, culturally responsive care. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure that all patients receive the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver culturally sensitive care to Aboriginal patients, taking into account their individual backgrounds and circumstances.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans that cater to the diverse needs of Aboriginal patients.
- Support Aboriginal patients and families through education and advocacy, helping them navigate the healthcare system.
- Certificate IV in Aboriginal Primary Health Care (Practice) or equivalent qualification.
- Current authority to practice as an Aboriginal Health Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
