Job Role: Demi Chef

Pullman and Mercure Melbourne Albert Park is part of the Accor group, a leading hospitality provider in Australia.

As a Demi Chef, you will be part of our dynamic Banquets Kitchen team, responsible for delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide efficient and professional service to exceed business and guest expectations.
  • Perform tasks in a timely manner to ensure high guest satisfaction.
  • Create consistently great food production, promoting culinary excellence through high-quality standards.
  • Maintain health and hygiene requirements in line with HACCP standards.
  • Liaise with the Kitchen teams on special requests or delayed meals.
Requirements:
  • A can-do attitude and ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Strong desire to achieve high results, driven by success.
  • Previous experience in a banqueting environment or fast-paced kitchen would be highly regarded.
  • Excellent technical knowledge with experience in various cooking techniques and styles.
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety principles.
  • Food Safety Certificate essential.
  • Flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts.
