Job Opportunity: Principal Facilities Services Officer

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for monitoring and reporting the performance of the department's infrastructure investment portfolio. Your expertise will play a key part in driving continuous improvement through business intelligence tools and optimized workflows.

Main Responsibilities:
  • You will prepare and present high-quality documentation, submissions, reports, briefs, and correspondence to stakeholders.
  • Your analytical skills will be utilized to prepare data and reports that inform decision-making using Excel and PowerBI.
  • Deliver insightful reporting and analytics to senior management and government stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • You will participate in project teams to develop, implement, maintain, and review programs, policies, and procedures that support the department's strategic direction.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • You must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated experience in interpersonal and stakeholder engagement is essential.
  • You should be a skilled communicator able to deliver complex financial and non-financial information to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong skills with Excel and PowerBI are necessary for success in this role.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of portfolio and program management practices and processes within large organizations. You will prioritize workload to meet strict monthly reporting deadlines and demonstrate problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to deliver innovative solutions to business challenges.
